Flights shall be performed in accordance with diurnal Visual Flight Rules (VFR).

Flights over controlled airspace, restricted, prohibited or activated danger areas and over congested areas are prohibited.

The altiltude shall not be above 3.000 meters (10.000ft) or between 3.000 and 4.000 meters (10.000-13.000ft) for a period not longer than 30 minutes counted during the complete flight.

Use of seatbelts or harness during the flight.

Use helmet when a proper protection for the people on board is not assured in the aircraft.

During the flight operation the pilot shall carry the license of which is holder at all times. The license must have all the annotations and ratings necessary for operations carried out.

Flight conditions must be carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 923/2012.

There is no aeronautical legislation that establishes the documentation on board, nor the aeronautical license to fly these aircraft. Depending on the autonomous regions and the corresponding sports federations, some documents may be required.

These aircraft do not have to comply with the airworthiness requirement as long as they are < 70 kg.

Flights do not have to be notified unless the suspension of any of the applicable operating limitations has been requested.

There are no specific requirements on the take-off and landing areas, but they will be limited by the operational conditions of the flight, therefore, if it is an urban area or there are people and it can be considered an agglomeration of people, they cannot take off from there.

Debe tener en cuenta que, para aeronaves con un MTOW < 450 kg, será de aplicación la normativa nacional, mientras que para aeronaves ultraligeras con un MTOW > 450 kg será de aplicación el anexo VII (Parte NCO) del Reglamento (UE) 965/2012. / You must consider that ULMs with MTOW <450 kg must comply with national regulation, and ULMs with MTOW > 450 kg must comply with regulation (EU) No 965/2012 (Part NCO)

Aircraft registered within the EU and the European Economic Area: You must present a responsible declaration that allows you to operate in Spain.

For aircraft registered outside the EU and the European Economic Area, it is necessary to issue an overflight permit authorization, in accordance with the provisions of article 151 of Law 48/1960 on Air Navigation.

According to article 6 of Regulation (EU) 965/2021, the following operations with other-than-complex motor-powered aeroplanes and helicopters, may be conducted in accordance with Annex VII (Part NCO) cost-shared flights by private individuals, on the condition that the direct cost is shared by all the occupants of the aircraft, pilot included, and the number of persons sharing the direct costs is limited to six.

These are non-commercial private flights, and it will be the responsibility of the pilot in command to comply with the applicable regulations.

Art. 29, the organizer must submit:

Proposal for director and alternate director of the airshow.

Airspace coordination form.

Information form on facilities and services.

Airshow program.
-
Participants list according to aircraft category.

Form 791 for payment of the 32nd fee for the provision of services and activities in air navigation (Fee Code 312): https://sede.seguridadaerea.gob.es/sede-aesa/catalogo-de-procedimientos/pago-de-tasas.

Regarding the conditions of airspace coordination, if the restriction of airspace is requested, the request must be addressed to the Delegation or Sub-delegation of the Government of the province in which the airshow is to take place.

The following activities do not require the declaration of aeronautical conformity:

Events where exclusively manned balloons participate.

Exclusively parachuting displays.
-
Exhibitions limited to the following activities:

Airshows or civil aerial exhibitions with restricted access not open to the general public.

In such cases, the organizer of the airshow will submit a responsible declaration in compliance with the Royal Decree 1919/2009.
