- Aircraft registered in other States which do not hold a certificate of airworthiness issued in accordance with the provisions of Annex 8 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation are not covered by Article 5 of the said Convention and therefore may not enter the airspace of another State or make stopovers in its territory for non-commercial purposes without prior authorisation from that State.

- AESA establishes a declaratory procedure in which the applicant shall only submit a declaration of responsibility (OPS-UAH-ITR01-F01) properly filled and signed.

- Aircraft registered in other States which do not hold a certificate of airworthiness issued in accordance with the provisions of Annex 8 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation are not covered by Article 5 of the said Convention and therefore may not enter the airspace of another State or make stopovers in its territory for non-commercial purposes without prior authorisation from that State.
- AESA establishes an authorisation scheme in which the applicant must submit at least fifteen (15) days in advance:
- Application form for overflight authorisation (OPS-UAH-ITR01-F02).
- Copy of the pilot's licence.
- Copy of the aircraft's certificate of airworthiness or permit to fly.
- Not having flown in Spain more than 180 days per natural year.

Flights shall be performed in accordance with diurnal Visual Flight Rules (VFR).

Flights over controlled airspace, restricted, prohibited or activated danger areas and over congested areas are prohibited.

The altiltude shall not be above 3.000 meters (10.000ft) or between 3.000 and 4.000 meters (10.000-13.000ft) for a period not longer than 30 minutes counted during the complete flight.

Use of seatbelts or harness during the flight.
-
Use helmet when a proper protection for the people on board is not assured in the aircraft.

During the flight operation the pilot shall carry the license of which is holder at all times. The license must have all the annotations and ratings necessary for operations carried out.

Flight conditions must be carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 923/2012.

There is no aeronautical legislation that establishes the documentation on board, nor the aeronautical license to fly these aircraft. Depending on the autonomous regions and the corresponding sports federations, some documents may be required.

These aircraft do not have to comply with the airworthiness requirement as long as they are < 70 kg.

Flights do not have to be notified unless the suspension of any of the applicable operating limitations has been requested.

There are no specific requirements on the take-off and landing areas, but they will be limited by the operational conditions of the flight, therefore, if it is an urban area or there are people and it can be considered an agglomeration of people, they cannot take off from there.

Debe tener en cuenta que, se consideran ultraligeros (ULM) los aerodinos motorizados comprendidos en aviones terrestres, acuáticos o anfibios que no tengan más de dos plazas para ocupantes, cuya velocidad calibrada de pérdida en configuración de aterrizaje no sea superior a 45 nudos y la masa máxima autorizada al despegue no sea superior a 600 kg para aviones terrestres y 650 kg para hidroaviones o aviones anfibios; los helicópteros terrestres, acuáticos o anfibios que no tengan más de dos plazas para ocupantes, y cuya masa máxima autorizada al despegue no sea superior a 600 kg para helicópteros terrestres o 650 kg para helicópteros acuáticos o anfibios; y los autogiros motorizados que no tengan más de dos plazas para ocupantes, y cuya masa máxima autorizada al despegue no sea superior a 600 kg. According to article 6 of Regulation (EU) 965/2021, the following operations with other-than-complex motor-powered aeroplanes and helicopters, may be conducted in accordance with Annex VII (Part NCO) cost-shared flights by private individuals, on the condition that the direct cost is shared by all the occupants of the aircraft, pilot included, and the number of persons sharing the direct costs is limited to six.

These are non-commercial private flights, and it will be the responsibility of the pilot in command to comply with the applicable regulations.

Participants list according to aircraft category.

Regarding the conditions of airspace coordination, if the restriction of airspace is requested, the request must be addressed to the Delegation or Sub-delegation of the Government of the province in which the airshow is to take place.

The following activities do not require the declaration of aeronautical conformity:

Events where exclusively manned balloons participate.

Exclusively parachuting displays.

Exhibitions limited to the following activities:

Airshows or civil aerial exhibitions with restricted access not open to the general public.

In such cases, the organizer of the airshow will submit a responsible declaration in compliance with the Royal Decree 1919/2009.
