Configuration Definition Documents

For some aircraft included in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, such as historical and ex-military aircraft, models that do not have a valid type-certificate but which, in the opinion of EASA, have an acceptable service experience history for the intended use and for which sufficient information on their characteristics and adequate documentation is available for use and maintenance, it is possible to obtain a restricted certificate of airworthiness. To do this, they must have a Configuration Definition Document (DDC) that supports them in advance.
