The purpose of AESA
The Multiannual Strategic Framework is the one that structures the strategy of the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) and sets out the objectives at different levels that will guide the way forward during the three-year period during which it is valid. These objectives are achieved following a process of analysing the conditions of the environment, the regulatory requirements to be met by the Agency as a public entity and the vision defined by the Directorate.

This division of typologies of objectives is established in order for the AESA Strategy to address in an orderly and systematic manner the main aspects to be defined by the AESA Strategy.
Multiannual Strategic Framework and AESA Annual Action Plan
The Multiannual Strategic Framework (MSF) sets out the core lines that will guide AESA’s strategy for the next three years (2021 to 2023), with the aim of having a stable framework on which our operational plans will be implemented, thus ensuring that the actions of each of the directorates are consistent with the objectives set.
The Agency’s Annual Action Plan sets out the strategic objectives and actions needed to achieve them. Both documents are aligned with the principles adopted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and are approved by the AESA Governing Council.
