This briefing shall include abnormal and emergency procedures specific to the aircraft category, aircraft class or type and the applicable specific privileges.

In relation to the application of the recent experience requirements of Part BFCL, the 24-month period is extended to the last 30 months, as indicated in the Fourth Provision of the EASA Resolution of 5.5.2020

All holders of licences issued in accordance with Part BFCL who avail themselves of the Extensions set out in point (a) of provision Five AESA Resolution dated 05.05.202 in relation to recent experience requirements shall have received, prior to returning to the activity, a briefing by an instructor with appropriate instructional privileges, refreshing the theoretical knowledge necessary to safely operate the aircraft concerned and to safely carry out the applicable manoeuvres and procedures. This briefing shall include abnormal and emergency procedures specific to the category of aircraft, class or type of aircraft and the specific applicable privileges.

The exemption measure described in paragraph (h) of the EASA Resolution dated 05.05.2020 is only applicable in cases where evidence of having passed the complete set of theoretical subjects in an ATO or DTO is provided.

In any case, the exemption measures defined in paragraph (k) of this EASA Resolution dated 05.05.2020 for the time periods specified in SFCL.135 9(c)(2) of Part-SFCL shall apply for a period of time equal to the period of time during which the applicant was unable to take the examinations due to the reasons set out in the preamble of this resolution.
