The procedure does not need to be carried out immediately.
The issue of the licence with the updated SET LAND and/or SET SEA class rating can be processed:

• on the next movement to be made on the licence or
• by requesting an update of the annotation through the specific request created for this purpose. Click here to access the application form.

There are two ways to update the licence with the new endorsement for pilots who currently hold one or more of the ratings listed in this note:

The EASA Endorsement List is a document drawn up and published by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for both aeroplanes and helicopters; these lists constitute the aircraft class and type categorisations in accordance with FCL.010 (aircraft category, aeroplane class and aircraft type) and FCL.700 of Annex I (Part-FCL) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 of 3 November 2011 as well as GM1 FCL.700.

Since 13 February last, the annotations listed below have been grouped into a single SET LAND and/or SET SEA annotation, as appropriate.
 

You can apply within 3 months prior to the expiry date of the licence.

Yes, provided that the requirements of article 13.2 of Royal Decree 123/2015 are met.

The validation process will be carried out through a ULM school authorised by AESA.
