How do I get a ULM license?

In order to act as a ULM pilot in the corresponding rating or variant, it is necessary to obtain the ULM pilot’s license regulated in Royal Decree 123/2015 of 27 February.

To obtain the ULM pilot license the applicant must have a minimum age of 18 years and take a theoretical-practical course in a ULM training organisation authorised by the State Aviation Safety Agency.  You can consult the list of authorised centers here

In addition, certain psychophysical conditions must be met which are accredited by obtaining an aeronautical medical certificate class LAPL or class 2. The medical certificate can be obtained and renewed through an authorised Aeronautical Medical Center or Air Examiner Medical Center. See here the means authorised by AESA

After completing the training course the applicant must pass a theoretical test test carried out by AESA as well as a practical exam that will consist of a flight test.
