Training

Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 provides that groundhandling service providers are responsible for ensuring that training programmes are implemented to ensure that their personnel are properly trained and qualified.

There is currently no regulated and regulated training for groundhandling activities in Spain, with the exception of training in dangerous goods and training in security (AVSEC). It is the companies themselves that engage in this type of activity that are responsible for training their staff to carry out those tasks, so that the essential requirements laid down in Article 33 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 are met.

In this way, there are no training centres approved by EASA for groundhandling activities other than training centres on dangerous goods and AVSEC
