Test license plates
- The Regulation on the Registration of Civil Aircraft, established by Royal Decree 384/2015, incorporates and orders the regulation on test plates for new standard aircraft, which need to perform test flights for verification, tuning and maintenance, and for prototypes of aircraft used for testing, development, verification, tuning or certification flights, provided that these do not have registration issued by an Aircraft Registration Register.
- This procedure establishes the conditions and procedures to be carried out for the application for the allocation of test registrations for the performance of the flights referred to above.
- Aircraft design or production organisations, for the conduct of flight testing, certification, verification, development or certification on aircraft designed, modified or manufactured by such organisations.
- Amateur aircraft manufacturers (also referred to as experimental aircraft), for the performance of test flights necessary to obtain the restricted certificate of airworthiness.
- Royal Decree 384/2015 of 22 May 2015 approving the Regulation on the registration of civil aircraft.
- Order FOM/1687/2015 of 30 July 2015 laying down additional provisions on nationality and registration marks for civil aircraft.
