I want to be an examiner

In order to obtain the FCL examiner certificate, the requirements set out in Sub-Part K of Regulation EU 1178/2011 for the type of certificate to which you aspire will be met and accredited.
In relation to the course of standardisation of examiners this will be conducted by the competent authority

Procedures associated with the examiner certificate

Planner Examiner Certificate

To request the completion of the standardisation course, it will proceed to submit the following instance of application to AESA:

• Application for standardisation course for FE(S) examiners

For the procedures associated with the glider examiner certificate you will send us the request and documentation indicated therein: 

• Request for Inspector Designation for Trainings/Competence Assessments/Supervised Tests (SPL) New!
• Application for authorisation supervision of FE(S) examiners

To request the procedures associated with obtaining and maintaining your examiner certificate, you will proceed to submit to AESA the application format together with the documentation indicated therein for the type of procedure to be carried out:

• Request for processing of flight examiner certificate FE(S) Updated!
• Update notification of published FE(S) data

Globo Examiner Certificate

To request the completion of the standardisation course, it will proceed to submit the following instance of application to AESA:

• Application for standardisation course for FE(B) examiners

For the procedures associated with the glider examiner certificate you will send us the request and documentation indicated therein:

• Request for Inspector Designation for Trainings/Competence Assessments/Supervised Tests (BPL) New!
• Application for authorisation supervision of FE(B) examiners

To request the procedures associated with obtaining and maintaining your examiner certificate, you will proceed to submit to AESA the application format together with the documentation indicated therein for the type of procedure to be carried out:

• Request for processing of flight examiner certificate FE(B) Updated!
• Update notification of published data FE(B)

Certificate of Examiner FE, FIE, IRE
For the formalities associated with the certificate of examiner FE, FIE, IRE will send us the request and documentation indicated therein:

• Application for admission to the process of standardisation of flight examiners FE, FIE and IRE

Certificate of Examiner CRE, TRE, SFE
To request to carry out the standardisation course, for the type of procedure to be requested, you will proceed to send us the following instance of application to AESA

• Application Course of Standardisation of Examiners CRE, TRE, SFE

For the procedures associated with the examiner certification process, you will send us the format corresponding
to the type of procedure to be carried out:

• Application Authorisation of training, evaluation of examiners CRE,TRE,SFE
• Request for inspector of the Competence Assessment Authority (initials) CRE, TRE, SFE
• Request publication of data from CFE, TRE, SFE examiners
• Format assessment of certified competence of examiner CRE, TRE, SFE
• Report of the instruction session(s) in extension to other fleets and, or would-be examiners CRE,TRE,SFE

To request the procedures associated with obtaining and maintaining your examiner certificate, you will proceed to submit to AESA the application format together with the documentation indicated therein for the type of procedure to be carried out:

• Request for annotation, revalidation, renewal, extension of the CRE fleet,TRE,SFE

In accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Law 39/2015 of 1 October 2015 on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations,
you have the following options to send us your request and documentation:

• Through our Electronic Headquarters of AESA link to process
• An electronic register of the General Administration of the State, the Administrations of Autonomous Communities or the entities that make up the Local Administration.
• In the Post Offices
• In the diplomatic representations or consular offices of Spain abroad.
• At the Registry Assistance Offices.
• Through postal service or face-to-face at AESA’s offices in Madrid
