Management and quality

In AESA we assume the commitment that has been granted to us as an Agency of the General Administration of the State that ensures the safe and effective development of the Civil Aeronautics activity of Spain. Faithful to this responsibility acquired with the whole society, we develop our work applying our Strategic Plan 2024-2027 that, among other objectives, establishes a reference framework for the development of the Quality Management Policy, supported by three fundamental pillars: people, safety and excellence. 

We focus on protecting aviation safety, including that of people and property, in accordance with the principles and rules in force in the field of civil aviation. We adopt a preventive approach based on knowledge and understanding of aviation security risks and applied technologies, we promote the culture of safety in all areas of civil aviation, including our own organization, participating in innovation and development projects from a comprehensive approach and from the continuous improvement of processes. 

We adopt the principles of accountability, consistency, proportionality, transparency and independence, fostering clear and concise dialogue with all stakeholders, both internal and external. 

Our Quality Management Policy is based on the requirements established by ISO 9001:2015 and those other regulatory and regulatory requirements that apply to it. For its management, the Directorate of EASA establishes Guidelines set out in the Management Policy document. 
 
This Policy shall be reviewed by the EASA Directorate, as many times as deemed necessary, to keep it up to date with the tasks entrusted to the Agency.
