Verification of aerodromes according to Royal Decree 862/2009
Technical standards
One of the fundamental aspects of the verification process is the verification of compliance by the aerodrome infrastructure, facilities, systems, equipment and services with the standards established in the technical standards for the design and operation of aerodromes for public use of RD 862/2009 (Order FOM/2086/2011).
For this purpose, the aerodrome manager will have to submit the report Compliance with Technical Standards, for which he must submit Volume I of the technical standards, for airports, and Volume II for heliports, completed, together with the necessary supporting documentation.
AESA has developed a support guide for the presentation of the opinion on compliance with the technical standards, which contains instructions for the completion and presentation of this document.
