Instructor and Examiner Certificate – How is the Instructor Certificate Extension noted?

In cases where the EASA Resolution of 18.3.2020 applies, with respect to TRI certificates, the procedure is exactly the same as that of the authorisation with the exception of the period of validity, since in its case it always extends until November 14, 2020, the validity period of the Resolution. 

In the case of SFI, since they are certified that they are not licensed, it will be necessary to make a telematic request to AESA attaching a letter from the Operator proving that the instructor participates in activities for the staff referred to point (e) of the exemption of 18 March. 
 
Once the documentation has been received and after being evaluated, the Professional Flight Licensing Service will proceed to issue the electronic certificates and send them by telematics following the procedure published on March 24. Download the resolution here.
