Instructor’s and Examiner’s Certificate – In order to extend the duration of the Instructor Certificate’s validity, do you have to perform a specific procedure?

According to the EASA Resolution of 5.5.2020, if the extension of the validity period can be noted in the license, then it will be extended by an examiner acting in accordance with the provisions of FCL.1030. 
 
In the event that the instructor’s certificate is not entered into a licence, a request for that purpose shall be submitted to the authority, which shall proceed to assess the file and issue a new certificate with the extended period of validity.
