Type, class, instrument ratings - Is the period of validity of the licence extended if the licence is not currently in use but expires within the above period?

In accordance with the above scenario, the FCL licence holder may benefit from the exemption measures defined in the EASA Resolution dated 05.05.2020, provided that he/she complies with and accredits the requirements and extension procedure described in the aforementioned Resolution.
