Bárbara Trincado Cosío
AESA General Secretary and Secretary of the Governing Council, since January 2021. She holds a degree in Research and Market Techniques from the University of Rey Juan Carlos I, graduated in Aerospace Engineering from the University of León and Technical Engineering Aeronautics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Official of the General State Administration of the Corps of Aeronautical Technical Engineers (2005) and of Senior Optional Technicians of Autonomous Organisations of the Ministry of Public Works — Air Transport Specialty (2019).
He was previously Head of the AESA Management Cabinet (2008-2021) and responsible for the Communication Unit. Previously, he was Head of the Department of Coordination and Policy Development of the European Union in the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Public Works (2007-2008) and Head of the Office of International Relations in the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Public Works (2005-2007), representing Spain in various international forums, ICAO, European Union, EUROCONTROL and CEAC, among others.
