Nerea Rodríguez Entremonzaga

Graduated in Business Administration and Management from the Carlos III University of Madrid, she joined the Higher Corps of State Finance Inspectors in 2003.

Until her appointment as Director of the Department of Customs and Excise by Resolution of 1 February 2024 of the Presidency of the State Tax Administration Agency, she has held the functions of Deputy Director General of Customs Management between April 2017 and February 2024 in the Department of Customs and Excise; Attached to the Head of Regional Customs and Excise Unit of Madrid between December 2016 and April 2017; Tax and Customs Control Unit in the Central Delegation of Large Taxpayers between April 2015 and December 2016; Responsible for AEO, customs procedures, electronic customs, smuggling and control of counterfeit goods, among other matters, in the Subdirectorate-General for Customs Management of the Department of Customs and Excise from 2007 to 2015; and she has been Inspector of Customs and Excise in the Regional Customs and Excise Unit of Catalonia between 2005 and 2007.
