No, your privileges as an instructor are limited to the variants for which you have completed the differences or familiarisation course, as appropriate, once you meet the requirements set out in FCL.915.

The validity date of your SET LAND and/or SET SEA instructor certificate will be the same as your current date.

As the examiner certificate is associated with the licence document and the instructor certificate, when updating the licence, EASA will automatically initiate the procedure to update your examiner certificate.

As the instructor certificate is noted on the licence, when you complete the licence update procedure (see question 4), you will receive an updated instructor certificate as an ex-officio action by EASA without any action on your part.
