The award ceremony was held yesterday afternoon of the First Congress of Police Aeronautics and Air Space Management, at the Science Museum of Valladolid, within the SeguCITY event.

In addition, during the day of SeguCITY, Gándara participated in the panel ‘The new regulations governing the flight of drones’, where he addressed the most relevant aspects of Royal Decree 517/2024, the current legislation on UAS, focused in this case on non-EASA operations. The session was presented by David González García, head of the Local Police of Haro and general secretary of Unijepol-La Rioja.

The collaboration between AESA and the State Security Forces and Bodies is essential to continue advancing jointly in the improvement of air safety in our country. This cooperation allows the sharing of technical knowledge and contributes to the development of police air operations, in this case, within the scope of UAS, under the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
