The State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) has published the document SMS Transition Guide for Part 145, AC-TRAN-P01-GU01 Ed. 01. 

From 2 December 2022, all Part 145 maintenance organisations shall comply with the requirements of Section A of Annex II introduced by Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/1963, with a transitional period until 2 December 2024. This guide has been developed to assist Party 145 organisations in this transition process and thus comply with the obligation to implement safety management systems (SMS).
