The State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) celebrates on 2 July the General Aviation Day in which the whole sector and the European Agency EASA will participate.

The event that will be held at the facilities of the Real Aeroclub of Spain (RACE) in Cuatro Vientos (Madrid) and the objective is to give visibility to general aviation and listen to the needs of the sector, for this will participate Association of Pilots and Owners of Aircraft (AOPA), the Spanish Association of Light Aircraft Pilots (AEPAL), the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA), as well as the provider of air navigation services ENAIRE and the airport manager AENA.

EASA’s General Aviation Service will address the main issues of interest to the sector, both what has been achieved and the challenges for the future, and emphasis will be placed on the safety recommendations for general aviation within the scope of the Operational Safety Action Plan (OSAP).
