Madrid, 14 October 2025 (AESA)

The expanded Steering Committee of the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) has visited the Integral Disability Center of Envera, the association of employees of Iberia parents of people with disabilities.

During the visit, the representatives of AESA had the opportunity to know first-hand the activities that Envera develops in its different services, from the Special Employment Center, through its digital, manipulated and solidarity recycling services, to its Day Center. This experience allowed the Agency's management team to understand the real and transformative impact that Envera has on the lives of people with disabilities, both in the workplace and in personal and social support.

The day culminated with a special program on Radio Terrícola, Envera's inclusive radio station that promotes communication skills in disability. In the radio space, Envera reporters reviewed the activities of the day and shared reflections on the work of the Agency.

Montserrat Mestres, director of AESA, expressed her admiration for the work of Envera and stressed the relevance of this type of meetings to strengthen the ties between the aeronautical sector and social initiatives: “This flight together is only the first of many”.

Together with her, Marta Lestau, Director of Aircraft Safety, intervened; and Carlos García, director of Airports and Civil Aviation Security, who stressed the importance of collaborating with entities such as Envera, which promote equal opportunities and visibility through employment and specialized care. In addition, the members of the AESA Committee were able to participate with the reporters telling the highlights of the day.

AESA's visit reinforces Envera's role as a reference in the labor insertion of people with disabilities, demonstrating that inclusion is possible when commitment, professionalism and humanity are combined.
