The State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), as a member of the Apave Aeroservices consortium, will actively participate in International Technical Cooperation activities under EASA’s new contract “Aviation related consultancy support to EASA international cooperation activities”.

This contract, with a duration of four years and a value of up to 30 million euros, aims to strengthen aviation safety, the sustainability of the sector and regulatory harmonization with third countries, aligning its regulations with European standards and improving its supervisory capabilities.

The launch meeting of the consortium, led by Apave Aeroservices, was held on February 20 at the headquarters of AESA and was attended by representatives of Apave Aeroservices (France), SENASA (Spain), CAA International (United Kingdom) and ALG (Spain), in addition to the AESA International Strategy team.

The Apave Aeroservices consortium brings together experts with extensive experience in the implementation of projects at a global level, with advanced technical capabilities and knowledge in different cultural and operational environments.

As a national supervisory authority, AESA reaffirms its commitment to safety and global cooperation, working closely with EASA on its International Cooperation strategy. Through this initiative, a further step is taken towards safer, more sustainable and globally connected aviation.
