Issues related to sfcl glider licences - Do the exemptions from the recent experience requirements for sfcl licences apply automatically?

They do not apply automatically.
All holders of licences issued in accordance with Part BFCL who avail themselves of the Extensions set out in point (a) of provision Five AESA Resolution dated 05.05.202 in relation to recent experience requirements shall have received, prior to returning to the activity, a briefing by an instructor with appropriate instructional privileges, refreshing the theoretical knowledge necessary to safely operate the aircraft concerned and to safely carry out the applicable manoeuvres and procedures. This briefing shall include abnormal and emergency procedures specific to the category of aircraft, class or type of aircraft and the specific applicable privileges.
