6 March 2026 (AESA)

On the occasion of International Women's Day, which will be celebrated on 8 March, AESA wants to focus on the female talent that is part of the Agency and on the inspiring role that many women play for the new generations.

To commemorate this date, we have made a special video in which several colleagues of AESA participate with their daughters. Through this piece we want to convey a simple but powerful message: female talent is already present in the aeronautical sector and today's girls can find in these women close references that help them imagine their future without limits.

Elena Carrera, Loreto Márquez, María Guillermo, Patricia Pérez, Belén Garrido and Gema Hernández participate in the video, colleagues from different directions and positions within the Agency, who have wanted to share this moment accompanied by their daughters. The result is a close and emotional piece that reflects how today's example can become inspiration for tomorrow's girls.

AESA's commitment to equal opportunities, diversity and the promotion of female talent is part of the values that guide the Agency's activity and is reflected both in its organizational culture and in the initiatives promoted within the sector.

An example of this is the collaboration of AESA with the association Ellas Vuelan Alto, of which the Agency is a partner and with which it shares the objective of boosting the presence and visibility of women in aviation and the aerospace field. In recognition of this commitment, AESA received last year the prize for the promotion of equality awarded by this association, a recognition of the collective effort to move towards a more diverse and inclusive sector.

With this initiative, AESA wants to join the celebration of 8 March remembering that equality is not only a matter of justice, but also a lever for progress, innovation and talent development.

We invite you to watch this video, which we hope will be inspiring for all women and girls who dream of being part of the future of aviation.
