Madrid, 25 June 2025 (AESA)

If you are thinking of a professional career in the aeronautical sector, this is your opportunity. AESA and the Real Aero Club de España (RACE) have established a collaboration agreement to facilitate access to the L-category Aeronautical Maintenance Technician (TMA) license, a gateway to the field of general aviation aircraft maintenance, such as light aircraft, gliders, balloons or airships.

Why start with category L?

  • It is accessible: you don't need previous experience or specialised training to get started.

  • It is a direct way to continue growing professionally towards more far-reaching licenses.

  • It is approved at European level, which opens up job opportunities across the EU.

What is necessary?

  1. Comply with the basic knowledge requirement of subcategory L that is intended to be obtained, passing the corresponding theoretical exams.

  2. Provide practical experience in accordance with the formats established by AESA.

What do we offer you?

  • Free material for theoretical preparation: We have published on our website a battery of guiding questions by modules to help you prepare for the exam.

  • Practical and theoretical support: RACE accompanies you throughout the process, from theory to practice.
