Francisco José Guerrero has been provisionally appointed by the Directorate of the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) as the new director of the Seville Flight Safety Office.
The Offices of Flight Safety (OSV) are delegations of AESA in different regions of Spain that aim to facilitate the processing of requests from individuals on airworthiness issues and depend on the Directorate of Aircraft Safety (DSA). OSV No. 2, located at Seville Airport, mainly serves organizations and individuals located in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Ceuta, Melilla and Badajoz.
The purpose of the appointment of Francisco José Guerrero is to ensure the continuity of the services provided by OSV No 2 of AESA. The new director of the OSV is an aeronautical engineer from the University of Seville and has a long professional career in the sector. Prior to joining AESA in 2021 as a career civil servant, he developed his professional career in Spain and the United Kingdom, managing aeronautical design, production and maintenance programs and projects in the civil and military fields.
