Fauna

The wildlife risk management service at airports does not require the approval of suppliers by EASA. However, the EASA also monitors the production and updating of the following documents, associated with the control of wildlife risks in aviation:

Analysis and review of the “Funa and Habitats Studies in Airport Environments”, “Funa Impact Risk Studies” and “Fauna Risk Management Program” by airport managers

AESA has published Guides and Technical Instructions, which can be found in “AESA Material Guide”.

On the wildlife map you can observe interactively the main attractions as well as the control measures taken by the different airports.

In addition, the Airport Inspections Division participates or coordinates working groups for the prevention of hazards related to the wildlife service, resulting in the holding of the National Aviation and Fauna Forum.
