In relation to the incidents that occurred during the month of August in the SIGMA2 application that manages the issuance of aeronautical medical certificates, the State Aviation Safety Agency is working on the resolution of all reported incidents and updates are being implemented to solve all the problems detected.

AESA reports that it is now possible to issue new medical certificates by aerial examiners (AMEs). For those files that have been processed during this month and have been affected by these incidents, AESA is working on its resolution and is actively coordinating with the AMEs to speed up the processes and be able to issue the medical certificates as soon as possible.
