The Platform Management Service (SDP) is the service provided to direct the activities and movement of aircraft and vehicles on a platform, under the European Regulation 139/2014. (Art 2 Definitions of Regulation (EU) No 139/2014).
AESA has developed guidance materials and published formats to clarify, extend and detail the regulatory aspects applicable on the basis of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1234 of 9 June 2020 amending Regulation (EU) No 139/2014 as regards the conditions and reporting procedures of organisations responsible for the provision of Platform Management Services (PMS).
The European Regulation applies from 20 March 2022 to those organisations responsible for the provision of these services at aerodromes certified under Regulation (EU) 139/2014.
