- AESA establishes an authorisation scheme in which the applicant must submit at least 15 (15) days in advance:
- Application form for Overflight authorisation (OPS-UAH-ITR01-F02).
- Copy of the pilot’s licence.

-
Flights shall be performed in accordance with diurnal Visual Flight Rules (VFR).
-
Flights over controlled airspace, restricted, prohibited or activated danger areas and over Congested areas are prohibited.
-
The altiltude shall not be above 3,000 meters (10.000 ft) or between 3,000 and 4,000 meters (10.000-13.000 ft) for a period not longer than 30 minutes counted during the complete flight.
-
Use of seatbelts or harness during the flight.
-
Use helmet when a proper protection for the people on board is not assured in the aircraft.
-
During the flight operation the pilot shall carry the license of which is holder at all times. The license must have all the annotations and ratings necessary for operations carried out.
-
Flight conditions must be carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 923/2012.
-
There is no aeronautical legislation that establishes the documentation on board, nor the aeronautical license to fly these aircraft. Depending on the autonomous regions and the corresponding sports federations, some documents may be required.
-
These aircraft do not have to comply with the airworthiness requirement as long as they are & 70 kg.
-
Flights do not have to be notified unless the suspension of any of the applicable operating limitations has been requested.
-
There are no specific requirements on the take-off and landing areas, but they will be limited by the operational conditions of the flight, so, if it is an urban area or there are people and it can be considered an agglomeration of people, can they take off from there.

Weather information: You must check the weather forecast on your route. You can consult this information on the AEMET website by registering with the Aeronautical Meteorological Self-Service (AMA).
-
Information about the airspace: You must know the class of airspace in which you are going to fly and check the requirements that you must meet. You should also check any active airspace restrictions or reservations that may affect your intended route. You can view them through the ENAIRE INSIGNIA application.
