Newsletters (Non-EASA Products)

Please find attached the non-EASA information bulletins related to aircraft, engines, propellers, parts and appliances installed on board that are excluded from the EASA scope, either because they belong to Annex I of Reg. 2018/1139, such as those excluded from the EASA scope by their type of operation, according to Article 2(3)(a) of Reg. 2018/1139 and which do not have an EASA type certificate.

In its eagerness to connect with the managed in a more direct and continuous way, the Initial Airworthiness Division of the Airworthiness Coordination (Aircraft Directorate) has taken the initiative to issue Information Bulletins, of a diverse nature (information, security, computer or other news in AESA, etc.) as an information document and containing recommendations for the aeronautical community. The information contained in these Bulletins is not mandatory and does not meet the criteria to be issued as an Airworthiness Directive.

The newsletters will not have a fixed periodicity, but will be published when it is considered important that the administrators are informed of various issues relating, for example, to:

  • Regulatory changes affecting security.
  • Major changes in the electronic headquarters or in the procedures of EASA that may affect those administered.
  • Other safety notes arising from experience, or aviation accidents or incidents (BIS)
  • General information of the sector that is interesting for the managed.
  • Information on conferences, symposiums, webinars, courses, etc. that are held both at EASA level and outside EASA.
