Regulations
At European Union level, the legislation applicable to commercial air transport operations is based on the European regulations proposed by EASA and approved by the European Commission. Thus, Regulation 2018/1139 is the basic regulation from which all aviation regulations emanate. In the case of commercial air transport operations, Regulation 965/2012, commonly referred to as Air Operations, is the main document underpinning the grant of an AOC. In addition, there are some aspects not regulated by EASA that are covered by national legislation. Alternative Means of Compliance (AltMoC)
Resolution of 5 March 2018 of the management of the State Aviation Safety Agency approving an alternative means of compliance with requirement ORO.FC.230(b) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 of 5 October 2012 concerning the conduct of operator proficiency checks on single-pilot helicopters for certain commercial air transport operations.
