    This procedure is applicable to obtaining RPA airworthiness certificates corresponding to RPAs falling within the scope of Royal Decree 1036/2017.

    The RPA certificate of airworthiness is a restricted certificate of airworthiness that is issued to the aircraft and covers all system components (RPAS), including the aircraft itself, remote piloting stations and related command and control links, as well as any other elements of the system that may be required at any time during operation.

    Requirements

    The issue of the RPA certificate of airworthiness requires the prior demonstration of conformity of the RPAS with an RPA type-certificate, or, failing that, with airworthiness specifications for AESA.

     

    Access to Electronic Headquarters

     

    1. Natural or legal persons in whose name an RPA is registered or is to be registered.
    2. Operator of an RPA not subject to registration.
